The Grenoble cable car, guided public transport, does NOT require a health pass.

    Works at the Bastille!

The renovation works of the upper cable car station began on Monday April 4, 2022 and will last 3 months! The objective is to treat in depth the transverse cracks on the “West” and “East” facades and to resume the plaster. The work will be carried out on an occupied site without disturbing the proper functioning of the cable car and the Bastille. Access to the station and the concessions is guaranteed for all visitors (disabled access included) except for the Center d’art Bastille where access will only be via the terrace of the Geologists and its staircase. To allow you a quiet break at the top, new picnic tables have been set up under the vaults of Place Haxo du Fort.

The green bubble is a nod to the title of “European Green Capital 2022” that the city of Grenoble has obtained.
