The taking of the Bastille
The Bastille via ferrata is the only urban via ferrata in France!
The route has 2 main parts over a length of approximately 950 meters (400 m on the cliff and 550 m on the path).
The starting point is at No. 22 Route de Lyon, 100 meters from Porte de France, behind the Esplanade.

Lower part – VICAT cliffs / TrailQuite steep with an impressive rope bridge

- Difficulty: fairly difficult + to difficult
- Intermediate trail: 400 m – 15 min

Upper part – Cliffs of the BastilleAthletic and sustained, requires good physical condition
- Elevation: 110m
- Length: 300m
- Travel time: 45 mins
- Difficulty: fairly difficult + to difficult
