What’s happening at the Bastille Fort? This year, we are honoring our six partners with a series of “View from the top” interviews!
Over the coming months, discover each of them through a one-minute interview.
The videos will be posted on our social media channels. You can also find a summary of these interviews in our press releases, newsletters, and on our website.
Thanks to these videos, you’ll learn all about our partners and hear some interesting anecdotes!
To kick off this series, meet up with Acrobastille!
Introduce yourselves!
Louise: “Hello, my name is Louise, I’m the former manager of the park. I worked here for four years!”
Fabrice: “I’m the new manager of Acrobastille since the beginning of this year.”
What is Acrobastille?
Louise: “It’s a multi-activity park at the summit of the Bastille. There are activities for people aged 3 to 90. There are tree-climbing courses in the Fort’s casemates, courses for adults in the Fort’s moat, and we also have indoor games, which are small ”Fort Boyard“-style courses.”
What makes you unique?
Fabrice: “The fact that we’re in a dominant position in Grenoble, that the courses are located in the Fort’s casemates, and that we’re on an iconic site.”
Is it for all ages?
Louise: “It’s accessible from the age of 3. There’s a small course for beginners to tree-climbing.”
How do people find you?
Fabrice: “You can book directly via our website and, upon presentation of your booking, you’ll get discounted rates on the cable car.”
Any anecdotes to share with us?
Louise: “Here’s a little anecdote: last year, we hosted a Quebec reality TV show that was supposed to do the zip line. It was supposed to take an hour for six people, but in the end it took five hours and it took up my whole afternoon!”
Acrobastille in three words?
Louise: “It’s fun.”
Fabrice: “It’s family-friendly.”
Louise: “And above all, it’s very unusual!”
