What’s happening at the Bastille Fort? This year, we are honoring our six partners with a series of “View from the top” interviews!

Over the coming months, discover each of them through a one-minute interview.

The videos will be posted on our social media channels. You can also find a summary of these interviews in our press releases, newsletters, and on our website.

Thanks to these videos, you’ll learn all about our partners and hear some interesting anecdotes!

This summer, discover the Restaurant du Téléphérique!

In this interview, Nell and Nathan introduce us to the Restaurant du Téléphérique: a unique spot with a breathtaking view on the terrace.

On the menu: traditional homemade dishes made with fresh, local ingredients.

The added bonus? Nathan, the chef, is also a pastry chef—his desserts are truly delicious and the icing on the cake!

The perfect place to pop THE question, right?

Introduce yourselves!

Nell: “I’m Nell, I’ve been a waitress here since it opened last summer.”

Nathan: “I’m Nathan, one of the restaurant’s partners, head chef, and pastry chef too.”

Tell us about the Restaurant du Téléphérique!

Nathan: “It’s more of a traditional restaurant, with fresh, local products.”

What makes you unique?

Nathan: “The Bastille is what makes it unique, with its incredible view and terrace.”

What's on the menu?

Nathan: “Fresh, local products. We make a ravioli gratin and we have a meat pie.”

The chef's specialty?

Nathan: “I’d say pastries, because that’s my sweet tooth talking. I trained as a pastry chef a few years ago.”

How do people find you?

Nell: “It’s best to book on our website. You’ll receive a confirmation email, which entitles you to a reduced rate on the cable car.”

Restaurant du Téléphérique in three words?

Nell: “Smiles and a unique setting.”

Nathan: “Delicious!”

Any anecdotes to share with us?

Nathan: “One evening, we opened the restaurant especially for a gentleman who had asked us to help him propose to his girlfriend. So they had the restaurant all to themselves for the evening.”
