Bastille Art Centre

• An annual program of exhibitions combining the richness and diversity of international contemporary art:

  Located in vaulted cut stone casemates, the Cab renews the way we look at contemporary creation. It is also an available team that accompanies visitors in their discovery of the exhibitions by playing the card of intermediation between the artistic experience and the public.

  The Cab has a variety of exhibitions, mediations and meetings around the works presented, particulary thanks to the program of Unusual in partnership with various Grenoble associations for concerts or film or documentary screenings. The Cab:

  • Supports French artists and international artists in their projects,
  • Supports the emerging art scene,
  • Allows a sensitive meeting with the works between artists and the public.

  The Cab is a member of the AC / RA network. Participation of one euro per adult is requested but it is not mandatory.

• TOMBOYS DON’T CRY is a queer-transfeminist platform co-founded in 2011 in Milan by Dafne Boggeri and Mark Rebel, with an additional member in 2015, Alien.

  TBD’C promotes day and night post-identity adventures through sonic, visual, and performative research related to the LGBTQAIXYZ community, often involving its practice, collaborations, collisions, and reporting with other artists . As a platform, its ultimate intention is to develop and give voice to underrepresented backgrounds, focusing on talent and attitude.

  Opening reception: Saturday April 6, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  Practical information :
  The exhibition is open Wednesday to Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  MORNINGS: A visit, a coffee – Every Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
  CAB WORKSHOPS: Artistic practice workshops for children every Wednesday.

Weekend of June 3-4: adult-child pair workshop with artist Cecilia Moreno Ruiz from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (by reservation).
