Hop into the famous “Bubbles,” <\/strong>these iconic cabins that take you in just a few minutes from Grenoble city-center\u00a0 <\/strong>to the Fort de la Bastille<\/strong>. This 19th-century military fortification is now a major tourist site in the Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes region.
\nThe Grenoble Cable Car<\/strong> is one of the first urban cable cars in the world, following those in Rio de Janeiro <\/strong>and Cape Town<\/strong>. Inaugurated in September 1934<\/strong>, it celebrated its 90th anniversary <\/strong>in 2024, symbolizing an exceptional heritage at the heart of the city.
